Corrections

Here are the corrections I'm aware of. I've been making corrections
as the booklets and patterns are reprinted, so some don't apply to more
recent editions. If you find any other mistakes or problems, please let me
know - thanks!

Ribbing -- Plain & Fancy

Patt #8: Rnds 13-16: ...end p2, k3.

Rnds 18-24 should read Rnds 21-24

Patt #10: Rnds 3 & 4: *P2, k1, sl2wyib, k1 ...

Patt #16: Rnd 2: *P2, yo, sl 1 ...

Patt #20: (Multiple of 8 sts) Rnd 4: *K1b, p2, k1, LT, p2...

Patt #22: Rnds 1 & 2 are reversed.

In the "Thample Thockie" pattern:

p. 14, French Heel:

Row 1: Sl 1, k5, k2tog, k1, turn.

Row 2: Sl 1, p1, p2tog, p1, turn.

Row 3: Sl 1, k2, k2tog, p1, turn.

Row 4: Sl 1, p3, p2tog, p1, turn.

Row 5: Sl 1, k4, k2tog, turn.

Row 6: Sl 1, p4, p2tog, turn.

Row 7: Ssk, k2, k2tog. (4 sts rem)

p. 14; Dutch heel, Row 1 should read Sl 1, k6, ssk, turn.

p. 15; Instep instructions should read: Place 12 instep sts on 1 ndl,

with another ndl, sl 1, k3 heel sts ... 28 sts total.

Christmas Stockings

Candy Canes & Christmas Trees, p 9: Rnd 21: K1, *ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog,

k1, rep from *, end ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog.

Pine Trees Stocking, p 12: Work top ribbing; attach white, knit, marking

first st for center back, inc 4 sts evenly (68 sts). Also mark center front

st. Continue as given, dec to 50 sts after last patt band.

Even Tinier Stocking, p 18: Row 7: Sl 1, p3, p2tog, p1, turn.

Shawls

Chevron Shawl, p 3:

 Rows 39-74: Continue to work as est, having 2 more sts bet the inner yo's on every RS row until there are 41 sts bet center yo's.

Begin 2nd pair of chevrons:

 Row 75: Yo, [k6, k2tog, yo] twice, k21, yo, ssk, k20, [yo, ssk, k6] twice, k1.

 Row 77: Yo, [k6, k2tog, yo] twice, k20, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k20, [yo, ssk, k6] twice, k1.

 Row 79: Yo, [k6, k2tog, yo] twice, k20, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk, k20, [yo, ssk, k6] twice, k1.

 Row 81: Yo, [k6, k2tog, yo] twice, k20, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, ssk, k20, [yo, ssk, k6] twice, k1.

    Rep Rows 3 & 4 until there are 61 inc rows, or until shawl is 1-1/2-2" less than desired length, ending with Row 3.

Eyelet Border

    Row 1: Sl 1, k4, yo,*k1, yo, [k2tog, yo] to center st, rep from * to 1 st before last marker, end k1, yo, k5.

    Row 2: Sl 1, knit across.

    Rows 3 & 4: Rep Rows 1 & 2. BO very loosely in purl.

p 11: Row 14: Rep Row 12.

p 14: After completing Row 26 of patt ...

Angel Wings Lace Socks

In the instructions for the Pattern Panel:

Rows 1 and 5: Both rows should end p1, k3, pass st 1 of k3 over sts 2 & 3, p1. (24 sts)

Chart Row 7: there should be a yarn over [O] 3 sts from the end to match Row 3.
